MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Comes to Abbotsford
Abbotsford Minor Baseball Association is proud to host an official
MLB Pitch, Hit & Run event on
Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Berry Park.
This year marks the 50th Anniversary of MLB Pitch, Hit & Run, giving
local athletes a chance to compete in one of baseball’s longest-running youth skills
competitions, with the opportunity to advance all the way to the
National Finals at the World Series.

Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Berry Park, Abbotsford
Age Divisions:
- 7–8 years
- 9–10 years
- 11–12 years
- 13–14 years
Age eligibility is based on the participant’s age as of November 15, 2026.
What is Pitch, Hit & Run?
Pitch, Hit & Run is a free skills competition designed to give young athletes the
chance to showcase their baseball abilities in three core areas:
- Pitching — Accuracy and control
- Hitting — Distance and power
- Running — Speed from home to first base
Athletes earn scores in each category, with top performers advancing through:
- Local Competition
- Team Championship
- National Finals at the World Series
How to Prepare
Participants should bring:
- A copy or photo of a birth certificate, required for age verification
- Their own glove and bat, if available
- Running shoes or cleats
- Water and weather-appropriate clothing
Registration Information
Participants must register in advance through the official
MLB Pitch, Hit & Run system.
After registering, please save or screenshot your confirmation email, as it may be
required on event day.
