Mosquito Evaluations on March 2 at Ag-Rec Arena

On March 2 at the Ag-Rec Arena, coaches will be running all Mosquito players through an evaluation process. The purpose of these evaluations is to help us to assess the skill level of our players as we attempt to create balanced teams for the AAHA Mosquito Spring League.  The evaluations also allow us to get a sense of the strengths and weaknesses of our mosquito players as we plan for developing our kids as baseball players.

Please note that for all kids born in 2004 and 2003, these are not tryouts!  All players will be placed on a team in the Spring League.

For those younger players who are hoping to play up, the evaluations do serve as a tryout.  Coaches will determine whether the individual player would be best served by moving up to Mosquito or remaining in Tadpole. While the position of the Association is that it is usually best for a player to play with his/her own age group, in some cases the child may be better served by playing up a level.
