Tadpole Division PDF  | Print |

Congratulations to the AAHA Mini-Mosquito team which won Silver in Ridge Meadows in the summer championship tournament.  The team started slowly this summer but came on strong at the end.  The team was 3-1 in to start the tournament in pool play, earning the 2nd seed going into the playoff.  The boys knocked off PoCo in the semifinals before losing to a strong Chilliwack team in the final.  Losing never feels good, especially after coming so close to the championship, but the boys should feel good about how much they improved as individual players and as a team over the summer season.

Division Information

The Tadpole division is split into Tadpole 1 (born 2002) and Tadpole 2 (born 2001). Tadpole 1 features a move from coach's pitch(T-ball) to a pitching machine for the full game. Tadpole 2 is baseball's first introduction to kid-pitch. Players take the mound for the first two innings of the game; the pitching machine is used for innings 3-6. Go to the rules page for a complete list of tadpole rules. Tad 1 plays at Hughes Park; Tad 2 plays at Little Delair.
