The Dodgers and the Cardinals hooked up for a Tuesday night affair at Lions Park under perfect baseball conditions.  The Cardinals lead off the top of the 1^st inning with 3 runs led by Nick Rabinovitch off starter Bryn Alexander.  The Dodgers battled back in the bottom half with 4 runs of their own.  Sam Brandsma came in the 2^nd & 3^rd, shutting the Cardinals out while the Dodgers were answering back with 4 runs in their bottom half of the inning.  Andrew Cho and Jack Neill helped guide the team in the last three innings giving up just 1 run while the Dodgers bats were hot scoring 4 runs in both the 4^th and 5^th innings.  Player of the game Tyne Alexander, stifled a rally by the Cardinals with a catch in center field with runners on 2^nd and 3^rd to kill any hopes of a comeback.  All 11 Dodgers crossed the plate in the encounter in a total team victory, 17 to 4..

These two teams hook up again on May 19^th at Grant Park at 6:00pm.
