Angels at Provincials: Summer Baseball Round-Up

Over the past few weeks the Abbotsford Angels were represented at the Provincial Championships in various locations around BC. While our teams were less successful than in past years in terms of collecting banners, our players, coaches and supporters once again represented Abbotsford with class, sportsmanship, determination and skill. They should be very proud, and the city of Abbotsford should be pleased that it was so well represented.

Here are some of the on-field results for the Angels at the Provincials and through the Summer Season:

  • 15U AAA:  Provincial Final Four, 3-2 at the Tournament in White Rock.  Narrow loss to Cloverdale 2-1 in Semifinals.  This team had an amazing season, including capturing the AAA BC Baseball Tournament Championship and the chance to represent the province as Team BC at the Game Day US National Championships in Milwaukee, where they won a Silver Medal.
